Who We Are
Pierremont Media Group is a Nashville-based AV integration company, founded in 2000. For more than two decades we've built a reputation for mission-critical work — the systems where a failure doesn't just mean a bad meeting, it means a missed emergency page, a cancelled event, or a coach who can't reach his booth on third down.
Today we're the AV partner behind the audio and paging infrastructure at Nashville International Airport, Music City Center, and the Tennessee Titans, along with churches, corporate clients, and hospitality venues across Middle Tennessee. Our work spans system design, installation, and long-term service and support — with a specialization in Q-SYS and Crestron ecosystems, mission-critical paging and mass-notification, and conference and broadcast audio. In 2022 we launched PMG Displays, our LED display division for indoor and outdoor applications.
We're a licensed low-voltage contractor in Tennessee, manufacturer-certified across the platforms we install, and sized right to stay accountable — the person who designed your system is the person you'll call when you need it serviced. We're proud of the community we get to work in, and grateful for the clients who trust us with systems they can't afford to have fail.
Leadership
David Young
President-
David B. Young has spent more than forty years in audio and low-voltage work. He started as a teenager repairing radios and amplifiers, moved into installing music systems and front-of-house engineering for churches and performance venues in his hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana, and attended LSU before moving to Nashville.
In 1986 he enrolled at Nashville Technical College to deepen his electronics training and began his career in low-voltage contracting at one of the largest firms in the Southeast, where he would spend the next fourteen years. During that time he also studied photography and video at Watkins College of Art.
In June 2000, David founded Pierremont Acoustics, LLC. He rebranded the company as Pierremont Media Group, Inc. in 2012 to reflect its expanded scope, and has led its growth into the mission-critical AV integration company it is today — now serving Nashville International Airport, Music City Center, the Tennessee Titans, and clients across Middle Tennessee.

Sutton Porth is Director of Operations at Pierremont Media Group, overseeing project delivery, field operations, and client relationships across PMG's portfolio. He joined the company in the summer of 2024, bringing experience from LTN Global, where he worked as a production engineer, and from creative-arts roles at multiple churches where he led immersive worship production environments.
A graduate of William Jewell College with a Bachelor of Science, Sutton is a musician and problem-solver by nature — skills he applies to the complex, multi-stakeholder projects that define PMG's work. Originally from Kansas City, he relocated to Nashville in 2021.
